Very good restaurant. I recommend it. Kebabs are great. Definitely try kenafe with Turkish Tea for dessert.

Bit expensive than your traditional Turkish restaurants but it’s definitely worth it!
Service was great, seating comfortable, table big enough without feeling crowded. The food was beautiful, the flavours were on point and the portions are huge. Meats cooked to perfection. Had a lovely meal. Highly recommended

Good food and service. The only problem is when is sunny the big windows on first floor doesn't have curtains or blinds and it was a big discomfort for eyes

The decor is lovely staff on entry a bit flustered when busy . Ordered the lamb chops it came with rice which was overly buttered and cold . Ordered the calamari which came with tartar sauce in all honestly I felt like they should of got the sauce from mcdonalds it was not nice for my taste . When my main came the waiter picked up my fork and put it on the table I had to ask for a new set of utensils the lamb was nice.

I really recommend Gokyuzu! We usually get Adana and chicken, and the food is always amazing. The service is very good too.

I've visited this place 3-4 times over the past couple of years. As others say parking in small, so park at finchley leisure park opposite then walk.
The service has definitely gone downhill. We had a reservation and arrived on time, but still had to wait 15 minutes because no tables were ready, and we were treated the same as walk-ins. What's the point of making a reservation if it doesn’t matter?
The woman at the entrance who managed seating was rude and unprofessional. She made it seem like we might not even get a table and asked us to waiting the corridor by the exit.
When we were finally seated downstairs in a noisy area, it felt like the staff were rushing us. The waiter asked for our order right after we sat down, before we even had a chance to look at the menu. After our starters, the waitress started clearing everything, taking our plates before our mains had arrived. When we told her we hadn't received everything yet, she gave back the dirty plates and mixed them up between tables.
The starters were fine, but the mains were disappointing, with too much fat on the lamb. The price of the food definitely doesn't reflect the quality. In the past, when we came as a couple, we were given complimentary bread and salad. However, as a group of four, it was disappointing to receive the same portion as when we were half the size. The staff did not even offer to provide more bread as they have before
Throughout the meal, the waitress repeatedly asked if we were done, even though we still had food left.
We came to celebrate a birthday and brought a cake. We handed it to the staff at the beginning, but in the end, we decided to leave and take the cake home due to the poor atmosphere and staff behavior. They also handled the cake poorly, causing damage, even though it wasn’t served to us, which was completely unnecessary as it wasn't even brought out to us.

This restaurant has been my favourite since 2019, but not anymore. The taste of the food changed; staff became rude. Anytime I ask for well-done food, it is never well done, in fact, pink. When I order the food for delivery, it's either lamb instead of chicken, split, or not correctly cooked. It's a shame, and I decided not to go back anymore after all these years. Here is a photo with my recent order, and one of the chicken doner lid wasn't closed properly.

The food is lovely, tasty and plentiful. The staff are the most miserable I’ve seen anywhere! All of them. They don’t smile, they do the bare minimum possible, serve begrudgingly and take no initiative. What’s going on in this place?

Average food and simplified menu. Ripped my expensive coat whilst walking into restaurant by the cheap and dangerous metal mesh fence- this is a hazard and needs replacing ASAP. Also limited parking space.

Ordered takeout from Gokyuzu in Finchley, really looking forward to it since the smell when you drive past is always amazing. Unfortunately, the chicken and lamb were both quite tough, which was a bit disappointing. The lahmacun was nice, but overall, the food just didn’t travel well—it seems like one of those places where you need to dine in to get the full experience.
I reckon the food is much better fresh at the restaurant.
